About Us

Our Mission:

By means of community involvement and events, Infinity and Beyond is dedicated to help fight cancer by raising funds for cancer research and assist less fortunate individuals with the costs of care.

Why?

Each and every one of us is touched by cancer in one way of another.  In the last few years founder, Sam Davenport, has had quite a few family members and friends who were affected by cancer. His grandfathers died in 2005 of kidney cancer and in 2009 from liver cancer. Recently in May of 2010 his father was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer and is currently fighting it. With them in mind, he chose to challenge cancer and help remove it from the race.

Unique Fundraising

In February of 2011, Sam started Infinity and Beyond, a non-profit project with the mission of raising money for cancer research and treatment for those who are incapable of paying for it themselves. Infinity and Beyond is a fitting name, because the possibilities of this organization and of each and every one of us is endless. Everyone is capable of so much and the only thing stopping us is ourselves.

To raise awareness of the organization and in turn find donors, from May 23rd to Sept 10th of 2011, Sam rode his bicycle 4300 miles around the eastern United States.  Find out more at the blog and please consider donating to the cause to help  Infinity and Beyond’s fight against cancer.
